See You Soon! by PJ Zin
A Cartoonisan Post – From the Desk of Pete Zin

From sunrise to sunset, nature says hello and goodbye in the sweetest ways!
In my debut book I invite young readers on a journey through the rhythms of the day – where robins sing, koalas nap, and a red balloon floats ever upward.
See You Soon! celebrates connection, change, and the promise of reunion.
Perfect for bedtime, quiet time, or any moment when a little comfort is needed.
A tender reminder that every goodbye holds the joy of a future hello.
The Story Behind “See You Soon!”
At first, “See you soon!” was something cute my son would say to people. We’d be on a family walk through the park and people would stop to chat with him. But when he really wanted to get to the playground he’d say, “Ok, bye – see you soon!”
As he’s grown older, goodbyes have become harder – especially with family. When we visit, or when someone visits us, he doesn’t want to say goodbye.
“See you soon” is our way of softening these moments. It’s a reminder that goodbyes aren’t forever.

I didn’t plan on writing a children’s book, even though people tried pointing me in this direction. But after reading hundreds of children’s books (hundreds of times each), I’ve rekindled my love for them!
I hope my son remembers the times we spend reading these the way I remember reading with my dad.
“See You Soon!” is my way of capturing that feeling.
